About the UNICEF fundraisers - a message from Rob.
This is the 4th fundraiser for Unicef. The first was at the Balmoral in December 2015. A few months earlier, the shocking pictures of Aylan Kurdi’s body in the world press prompted the composition of ‘Strange Days’, which remains the original impetus and raison d’etre for this continued fundraising effort. The second (2017) and third (2018) events took place at the Pavilion Broadstairs. Each event has been supported by Sunpyg students and their families, and the members of Mamas Inc singing group. Other contributors include Gaddzukes, the Jeff Barker band, & Trevor Neale. This support and generosity has been complemented by innumerable contributions from artists known (and unknown!) to us, who have donated their artefacts to raise money for UNICEF. |

"Radi8ors turn up the heat - An outstanding set of new songs written by Dr Rob with a classic or two thrown in to round off the set. Superb drumming... tight bass, Eda on vocals and Rob on lead guitar all adding up to a great indie and rock sound. Songs to make you think, music to make you smile, and a thumping rendition of Lou Reed 's "Waiting for My Man"... what more could you ask for !"
