Dr Rob + the Radi8ors
Guitarist/stroke songwriter Rob Doyle formally signed to Island Records, Rough Trade and BMG teamed up with former CBS chanteuse and effervescent front person Eda (AKA Roxy Riviera) concocting an eclectic mix of guitar loop-driven soundscapes, alternative rock 21st century narratives with passionate vocals along with plenty of warmth and character.
Roxy Riviera says: 'Powerful, meaningful, fun - a great selection of catchy songs - let's bring excitement back to music!'
The heart of the band has been joined by John Rigg, renowned for his work on the other side of the desk, for live and studio engineering. John has swapped his first instrument of guitar (designed and built, ála Brian May, by himself) for the role of a creative and solid bassist. Roxy Riviera says: 'He's a winner: rhythmic, powerful, and super cool!'
Jose Joyette completes the rhythm section for live and studio work, bringing a percussive expertise honed from a list of guest appearances that reads like a who's who of contemporary music from Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Mike Oldfield, and Whitney Houston, to name but a few.
Roxy Riviera says: 'He's a gifted natural with a dress sense as snappy as his paradiddles!'

Jose Josette : Drums
At the age of two, Yusef Islam’s percussionist and bassist Larry Steele in the 70’s gave little Jose a pair of drumsticks. He began to beat it against cooking pots and heard sounds that excited him to further discover rhythms that would set up and write his life’s destiny. His foundation came from home, listening to all types of music from Stevie Wonder to Santana. His first ever performance was at age 7 with his father’s band “Rhythm Factory” that supported Ruby Turner at the Cambridge University; he played a song entitled Teddy Bear’s Picnic and had earned him a rose and a five pound note from a graduate he recalls. At the tender age of 11 Jose attended the Royal College of Music for juniors; he received a bursary from his secondary school ‘Hackney Free and Parochial’. At age 12 he met and played with world-class musicians such as: Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Mike Oldfield, Whitney Houston, David Foster, and Greg Phillinganes.
Through Jose’s musical journey he has played live drums/percussion and recorded music for the likes of Axelle Red, Jamie Scott, Ms Dynamite, Craig David, Michael Boothman, The Do, Lynden David Hall, Sister Sledge, Odyssey, Caron Wheeler, Olodum, Hinda Hicks, De La Soul, Amy Newton, Mother Earth, Jean Carne, Tom Browne, Watts Prophet, The Lighthouse Family, Niki Yeoh's Infinitum, Byron Wallen's Sound Advice, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, HKB FiNN, Billy Ocean, Junior Giscombe, Roachford, Amy Winehouse, Jnay, Terri Walker, Jay Sean, Loose Ends, Tyler James, Kezia Jones, Elliot Randall, Shola Ama, Omar, Don-e, Beverly Knight, Frank McCombe, Nona Hendryx, Joyce Sims, Melba Moore, Glenn Jones, and Ken Boothe.
